The most majestic music of the holiday season is coming to downtown Las Vegas. On Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the Las Vegas Philharmonic performs Handel’s Messiah at The Smith Center, 361 Symphony Park Ave.
Music Director Rei Hotoda leads the orchestra, joined by the UNLV Community Chorus under Dr. Stephanie Council and a stellar lineup of soloists: soprano Cecilia Violetta López, mezzo-soprano Laurel Semerdjian, tenor Norman Shankle and baritone Tim LeFebvre.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a pre-concert lecture at 6:30 — a perfect way to deepen the experience. As the Philharmonic puts it: “The greatest story ever told. The most majestic music ever conceived.”
Tickets are on sale now (702.749.2000). Nothing says the holidays are here like the Hallelujah chorus rising in a packed hall.
