Helldorado Days Rodeo Brings Old Vegas Spirit Back to Downtown, November 6-8

Las Vegas is tipping its cowboy hat to its Western roots once again. The Helldorado Days Rodeo returns to the CORE Arena at the Plaza Hotel & Casino, 201 N. Main Street in downtown Las Vegas, from Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 8, 2026 — and this year the rodeo is the centerpiece of the Downtown Las Vegas Days celebration.

Few Las Vegas traditions run deeper. Helldorado began in 1934 as a Western festival created to welcome visitors stopping at the new Hoover Dam, and the Las Vegas Elks Lodge has kept the spirit alive ever since. Today’s rodeo is presented by the Elks Lodge and the Plaza, with proceeds benefiting local veterans’ charities.

All three days feature afternoon performances packed with classic PRCA and PRORODEO action: bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling, mutton bustin’ for the kids, and a lively opening ceremony. Before and after the dust settles, families can enjoy a free festival area with Western vendors, and the official Helldorado Days Parade rolls through downtown on Saturday morning of rodeo weekend.

It’s a joyful reminder that beneath the neon, Las Vegas has always been a Western town at heart. Dust off your boots, check plazahotelcasino.com for ticket details, and join the celebration.
