This Halloween, Houston’s Jones Hall turns into Halloweentown. On Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the Houston Symphony brings Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas to life with a full live orchestra performance of Danny Elfman’s darkly charming score.
Picture it: Tim Burton’s beloved classic projected in its entirety on the big screen, every note soaring live from the stage as Principal POPS Conductor Steven Reineke leads the orchestra through every spooky, joyful melody. It is movie magic meets concert-hall magic, and it only happens one night a year.
And yes — costumes are encouraged! This is a Halloween night concert, after all. Come dressed as your favorite character, bring your friends and family, and make it an evening to remember. For a limited time, you can celebrate with a Halloween treat: buy one ticket and get one free using the promo code HALLOWEENTOWN.
Tickets are available now at houstonsymphony.org, by phone or text at 713-224-7575, or in person at the Jones Hall box office. The presentation is licensed by Disney Concerts.
