The Motor City’s signature car celebration is set for the new year: the Detroit Auto Show returns to Huntington Place in downtown Detroit from January 14 to 24, 2027. The Charity Preview, one of the city’s most glamorous nights, is scheduled for January 15, with the public show running January 16–24.
Recent editions of the show have brought together more than 40 vehicle brands, from Detroit’s own automakers to exotic supercars, with indoor test tracks, ride-along experiences and an interactive family zone that lets visitors get hands-on with the newest cars, trucks and EVs. Organizers say the 2027 show will again pair the latest product reveals with immersive experiences celebrating Detroit’s unmatched car culture.
The show floor sits at One Washington Boulevard, steps from the Detroit Riverwalk and downtown hotels and restaurants. Show details, schedules and ticket information are at detroitautoshow.com.
