Orchestra Hall gets delightfully spooky on Halloween morning. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra presents Spooky Spectacular! Halloween at Orchestra Hall on Saturday, October 31 at 11 a.m. — a family concert where costumes are not just welcome, they are encouraged.
Part of the DSO’s family programming at the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center, the concert serves up famous spine-tingling themes and playful musical tricks in a relaxed, kid-friendly format. Young ghosts, superheroes and princesses can experience the power of a full orchestra up close, often for the very first time.
The DSO, led by Music Director Jader Bignamini, has made its Halloween celebration a Midtown tradition. Orchestra Hall is at 3711 Woodward Avenue; tickets and the full fall schedule are at dso.org.
