Denver families, get those costumes ready: Harvest Hoot is taking over the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus this weekend, from Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The museum transforms into a cheerful, not-too-spooky wonderland made for little ghosts, goblins and grinning pumpkins. Kids can learn tricks at the Monster Mash Circus, concoct sensory sand potions, test their skills at carnival games, create their own spooky stuffies and explore a cranberry bog ā plus plenty more hands-on surprises around every corner.
It is the perfect indoor fall plan: all the Halloween magic, none of the chilly evening trick-or-treat route. A friendly note for planners ā there is no trick-or-treating at Harvest Hoot; the fun is all in the activities, and every one of them is included with regular museum admission.
The museum sits at 2121 Children’s Museum Drive. Admission is $19.75 for ages 2 to 59 and $17.75 for age 1 and guests 60 and up; members and babies under 1 get in free. Tickets are sold at the museum on the day of your visit only, and grown-ups must be accompanied by a child ā and children by their grown-up. Happy City News says: pick your best costume and hoot your way into the weekend!
