The Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is built like a love letter to Colorado childhood: kids can climb a three-story ‘alpinescape,’ cook in a kid-sized kitchen, build with real tools, and send scarves flying through giant pneumatic tubes.
Joy Park, the museum’s outdoor adventure space, adds ziplines, sand digs and a river to splash in during summer, while daily programs in art, cooking and science keep indoor days just as busy. The youngest visitors get their own tot-sized world in the Center for the Young Child.
Perched by the South Platte River near downtown, it’s Denver’s headquarters for learning through play — the kind of place families join as members because once is never enough.
