The holidays are coming to downtown Denver in the most joyful way: ELF The Musical takes the stage at the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre from December 22 through December 27, 2026, presented by Denver Center Broadway.
Based on the beloved 2003 holiday film, the musical follows Buddy, the human raised among Santa’s elves at the North Pole, on his hilarious and heartwarming journey to New York City in search of his real family — and his quest to remind a skeptical world that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.
The Buell Theatre, home to Denver Center Broadway’s biggest touring productions, sits inside the Denver Performing Arts Complex, one of the largest performing arts campuses in the country, right in the heart of downtown Denver. With its nearly 2,900 seats, it is the perfect stage for a big, bright family musical like this one.
ELF The Musical is a wonderful holiday plan for the whole family: laughter, catchy songs and that unmistakable Christmas spirit, just in time for the last week of December. Tickets are available through the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and shows like this one tend to fill up fast — so planning ahead is a great idea.
