Over Two Million Lights: Dallas Zoo Lights Returns November 13 Through January 3

One of Dallas’s most beloved holiday traditions is back! Dallas Zoo Lights returns for select nights from November 13 through January 3, transforming the zoo into a glowing wonderland from 5:30 to 9 p.m. each evening.

More than two million lights will sparkle across the zoo this season, with larger-than-life themed areas around every corner. Visitors can stroll through dazzling lantern displays, say hello to Santa, peek inside cozy igloos, snap photos at holiday-themed photo stops, enjoy live musical performances, and taste festive seasonal treats. Families can also wander through a Holiday Maze and a Christmas Tree Farm for the perfect seasonal snapshot.

This year’s calendar includes special nights for everyone: a Sensory Friendly Night on November 17, designed with smaller crowds, lower music volume, and sensory havens so every family can enjoy the magic, and an exclusive Member Night on December 1. Tickets and combo tickets go on sale October 15. As the zoo likes to remind guests, most animals are already tucked into bed before the lights come on — this evening adventure is all about the wonder.

Dallas Zoo is located at 650 S. R. L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, and full details are available on the zoo’s website.
