Autumn at Franklin Park Conservatory is a color study in amber: Harvest Blooms (September 26–November 1, 2026) fills the gardens and biomes with thousands of pumpkins, gourds, mums and ornamental grasses in arrangements that beg for family photos.
Kids count pumpkin varieties, hunt for the giant specimens and explore fall in the Children’s Garden, while the indoor biomes warm up chilly October days. It’s the daytime twin to the evening Pumpkins Aglow fun — see the pumpkins by garden light, then return after dark for the glow.
Weekday mornings are the calmest; weekends bring the full festival buzz.
Fall in Columbus has many stages. The Conservatory’s is the most photogenic.
