Boston families, this is your invitation to the museum! The City of Boston’s Boston Family Days program gives every school-age student (Pre-K through 12th grade) FREE admission to nine major museums and cultural institutions on the first and second Sundays of every month — for a full 24 months. And the best part: each student can bring up to two family members or guests, completely free.
The program is an expansion of the BPS Sundays Pilot, designed to open the doors of Boston’s world-class cultural institutions to the children and families who live here. With a Boston Family Days pass provided by the City of Boston, students and their families can plan a full year — and then some — of weekend art adventures.
At the ICA, home to one of the city’s most vibrant contemporary art scenes, eligible visitors enjoy free admission on the first two Sundays of each month. The next date is this Sunday, October 11, from 10 AM to 5 PM, with more free Sundays coming on November 1 and 8, and December 6 and 13. Just reserve your free tickets and bring the pass.
Boston residency is required, and even students who live in Boston but attend school elsewhere can join. Ready for your pass? Register through the City of Boston or email [email protected] with questions.
