Boston’s waterfront is in full fall mode! The New England Aquarium is celebrating Oktoberfest at its Dockside Beer Garden at 1 Central Wharf, and everyone’s invited — entry is completely free.
The celebration runs the first three weekends of October (Oct 2–4, Oct 9–12, and Oct 16–18), from noon to 7 p.m. — weather permitting, right on the harbor. With hospitality partner Sodexo Live! and Sam Adams, the garden is serving up Bavarian vibes with a Boston twist.
Mark Saturday, Oct 10 (2–5 p.m.): Sam Adams takes over with fall beer samples, giveaways, and the legendary “Raise the Stein” competition — who can hold a full stein the longest? All three weekends there’s a $24 special: two Sam Adams beers plus a pretzel with Sam Adams beer cheese.
The fall menu is pure comfort: bratwurst bites, fall apple salad, mini potato pancakes, a Sam Adams burger, and apple cider donuts with hazelnut Nutella sauce and powdered sugar. Prost to fall in Boston!
