Boston is getting a truly magical Halloween. The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston invites grown-ups to “ICA Halloween: It’s Magic!” on Saturday, October 31, from 8 PM to midnight, exactly 100 years after Harry Houdini’s final vanishing act.
The evening conjures award-winning magic by the magicians of Boston Magic Lab, tarot readings by Liz Callahan, and music and dancing with DJ Kon, hailed as “the best Disco/Funk/Soul/Boogie DJ in the world.” New this year: tickets are all-inclusive, with an open bar plus savory bites, vegetarian specialties, artisan breads, house-made dips, and sweet treats all night long.
The dress code is dark elegance — make it mysterious. Advance tickets through Friday, October 9 are $100 for ICA members and $125 for nonmembers; after October 10 they rise to $125 and $150. This is a 21+ celebration, and tickets are limited, so claim yours before they vanish.
