Atlanta’s most beloved mountain turns into a glowing holiday village this season as Stone Mountain Christmas returns to Stone Mountain Park from November 7, 2026 through January 3, 2027, on select dates through the season. Millions of dazzling lights wrap the park’s streets and trees, festive music fills the air, and the mountain itself becomes the backdrop for a celebration the whole family can enjoy.
By day, families can ride the Summit Skyride to the top of the mountain and hop aboard the Scenic Railroad around its base. By night, the park’s official program promises spectacular shows including a Christmas Drone Show, Santa’s Big Flight and the Musical Frosted Forest, along with visits from favorite holiday characters.
Stone Mountain Park, at 1000 Robert E. Lee Boulevard, is a 3,200-acre Georgia treasure built around the world’s largest exposed granite dome. Tickets for Stone Mountain Christmas are sold through the park’s official website, and popular nights fill quickly, so booking ahead is a smart move for Atlanta families.
