The Portland Art Museum toasts the season with an evening where the tasting notes come with brushstrokes. Harvest Celebration: Where Wine & Art Meet takes place on Wednesday, November 11, pairing pours from Willamette Valley wineries with the museum’s galleries for a one-night celebration of Oregon’s harvest.
Guests can sip and stroll, moving between wines and works of art in the museum’s downtown Portland home on the South Park Blocks. It is a fitting pairing for a city that lives between gallery nights and vineyard weekends — the Willamette Valley’s cellars come to the museum, and the museum’s collection provides the backdrop.
The evening is one of the first public celebrations in the museum’s newly transformed campus, which opens to the public later in November, making it a delicious early peek. Check the museum’s website for ticket details before you go.
