All Aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS at the B&O Railroad Museum

The conductor is waiting, the hot chocolate is real, and the train is bound for the North Pole. The B&O Railroad Museum’s THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride returns to Baltimore for the holiday season, transforming the museum’s historic trains into the beloved storybook journey — pajamas encouraged, golden tickets punched, Santa waiting at the journey’s end.

The experience runs on select dates from late November through December at the museum’s Mount Clare campus, with the ride rolling along the nation’s first mile of railroad. Families board from the 1884 Roundhouse, where holiday lights and the museum’s Festival of Trains displays set the scene before departure.

The B&O Railroad Museum is at 901 West Pratt Street. Polar Express dates sell out early every year — tickets and the schedule are at borail.org. Believe.
