This Halloween, Atlanta’s friendliest dinosaurs are throwing a party — and the whole family is invited! Fernbank Museum of Natural History hosts its annual Dinosaur Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, turning the museum into a joyful celebration full of treats, giggles and dino-sized fun.
Little explorers can roam the galleries visiting themed treat tables, collecting goodies, getting creative with hands-on crafts and enjoying family activities — no tricks in sight, just treats. Costumes are highly encouraged, so dress up your bravest little dinosaur, superhero or fairy princess, and don’t forget to bring your own candy bag or bucket!
The celebration is included with general admission, and Fernbank members stroll in free. It’s also the perfect excuse to wander the famous Great Hall beneath the towering Argentinosaurus skeleton and catch the brand-new exhibition The Secret World of Elephants, open through January 3.
Save the date for a morning of family fun at 767 Clifton Road NE — where Halloween meets natural history, and the dinosaurs are anything but extinct. Happy trick-or-treating, Atlanta!
