Good news for Dallas families: pumpkins in Dallas have officially entered their cozy era. Autumn at the Arboretum, presented by First United Bank, runs through November 10, 2026, at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, and its beloved Pumpkin Village has grown up in the sweetest way – this year’s theme is Cozy.
Now in its 21st year, the festival fills the garden with more than 100,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash alongside 150,000 colorful fall plants and flowers. Pumpkin Village invites children to wander among pumpkin houses and displays inspired by the four seasons, with a spring garden scene, a summer ice cream parlor, a fall country fair and a quiet winter village. The Topiary Gardens wear the season too, dressed with hanging baskets of bright annuals and perennials, while the Texas Skywalk and Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn add postcard views at every turn.
Beyond the village, the schedule brims with family-friendly treats: the Historic DeGolyer House hosts the exhibit “Threads of Cozy: A Stitch in Time,” and weekends bring live music, cooking and garden demonstrations and seasonal bites and sips. It is Dallas at its most cheerful – a garden glowing in orange, red and gold, ready for first boots, family photos and one more lap through the maze of pumpkins.
