Every October, Tampa Theatre turns deliciously dark. “A Nightmare on Franklin Street” — the palace’s beloved horror series — returns October 19–31, 2026, stacking classics and cult favorites beneath the twinkling stars, including Spanish-language Dracula (October 25), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (October 24) and Halloween itself on October 31.
The series is a Tampa ritual: costumed crowds, the Mighty Wurlitzer growling before the features, and a century-old theatre whose own ghost stories need no special effects. Late shows lean cult; matinees keep the goosebumps family-sized.
It sells out the big nights yearly — Rocky Horror especially — so book like a regular.
Thirteen nights of fright in a haunted palace. Franklin Street never screams so happily.
