Haunted Skies Brings a 2000s Halloween Party to The Museum of Flight on October 24

The Museum of Flight is turning Halloween into a full-throttle time machine. On Saturday, October 24, from 8:00 to 11:00 PM, the museum throws open its doors after hours for Haunted Skies, a 21+ party that sends everyone straight back to 2006.

The night’s theme takes its cue from the camp classic Snakes on a Plane, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The museum will screen the movie in its theater, so fans can relive every over-the-top moment on the big screen, surrounded by real aircraft.

Between scares, guests can dance to classic 2000s hits with DJ RocRyte, DJ LouRawk and Dolobeats, meet a real snake with wildlife educator Jungle Jordan, have their fortune read by Oracle of the Labyrinth, get flash tattoos or henna body art, and buckle into the VR experience and the i360 flight simulator.

The costume contest is a show in itself, with three categories: First-Class Execution for the sharpest look of the night, Dead on Arrival for the best venom-bitten victim, and Best 2000s Pop Culture. Winners score tickets to Hops & Props, Yuri’s Night, or Museum admission with flight simulator vouchers.

Wander the galleries after dark, grab drinks from the bar and bites from food trucks, and make it a Halloween to remember. Tickets are $55 general admission and $50 for members. This event is 21+, and a valid photo ID is required for entry. Costumes are encouraged!
