The future of aviation is taking off in Moses Lake! The Museum of Flight has teamed up with the Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center (CBTECH) to bring its celebrated Aeronautical Science Pathway (ASP) program to students across the Columbia Basin region.
Through the new partnership, CBTECH’s Aviation Pathways program — formerly Flight Technology — will guide students through one to two years of hands-on learning: piloting, drone operations, air traffic control, airport management, airline dispatch, and more. With help from a local FAA-certified flight instructor, students will train in flight simulators, study aviation weather and aircraft systems, and work toward industry credentials like the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification and OSHA 10 Certification.
The program also opens doors to college credit through Green River College — growing from 10 credits in the first year to as many as 40 as new courses come on board over the next four years.
Enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is open now: a perfect runway for Washington teens dreaming big in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries.
