San Francisco’s financial district is about to become the country’s brightest art gallery. Let’s Glow SF, the nation’s largest holiday projection mapping event, returns December 4 through December 13, 2026, transforming the facades of downtown’s iconic buildings into moving works of winter art — and it is completely free.
Presented by the Downtown SF Partnership, the nightly journey of light and color features whimsical, abstract and naturalistic winter-themed images by local and international artists, projected at large scale onto landmark buildings in the Financial District, including the Ferry Building area, 101 California Street, the Pacific Exchange at 301 Pine Street and the Hobart Building on Market Street. SF Travel, the city’s official tourism organization, lists the 2026 edition among the season’s must-see light experiences.
The best way to enjoy it is on foot: stroll from building to building as each facade tells its own glowing story, with viewing spots, an event map and downtown dining along the way. Families can make a full evening of it, pairing the projections with the nearby holiday lights and markets.
Ten nights, four giant canvases of brick and glass, and a downtown that sparkles — Let’s Glow SF is San Francisco’s happiest invitation to bundle up and look up this December.
