San Francisco is honoring its proud maritime spirit with Fleet Week 2026, running October 4–12 with some of the most thrilling free events of the fall season. The celebration salutes the men and women of the U.S. Navy and marine services with ship tours, a dazzling air show, and waterfront festivities that fill the city with energy.
The highlight on the ground is Fleet Fest at Fisherman’s Wharf, happening October 10–11 beside the SkyStar Wheel. Expect live music, local food, a beer garden, classic and military vehicles, and family activities — plus a Service & Safety Expo at Pier 27 with live demonstrations and emergency-response equipment. Visitors can also step aboard real visiting Navy ships at Piers 27 and 35 for tours running October 7–12, meeting the sailors and crews who serve at sea.
And of course, all eyes will be on the sky: the Fleet Week Air Show brings the world-famous Blue Angels roaring over the Bay, a San Francisco tradition that never fails to lift the city’s spirits. Grab a spot along the waterfront, feel the rumble, and enjoy one of the happiest weeks in the city.
