San Antonio’s museum for kids is thinking bigger – literally. On the Broadway cultural corridor, The DoSeum, San Antonio’s Museum for Kids, is adding a new reason to visit this fall: Beyond the Big, Big, Big, a giant-scale exhibition that opens November 21, 2026, with members getting a first look at a preview on November 20.
The DoSeum built its name on scale you can climb. Its signature playscape, The Big Big Big, is a three-level world of climbing, balancing and exploring, crowned by a tower viewpoint that has become a Broadway landmark. The new exhibition grows out of that spirit of bigness – stepping kids, and the grown-ups who chase them, into a world built larger than life.
Inside the museum’s 104,000 square feet at 2800 Broadway, the giant theme joins a lineup made for full museum days: the pint-size town of Little Town, water play at Calder’s Corner, the lift-and-build challenges of Innovation Station, and the sensory-friendly Spy Academy. The DoSeum is open Tuesday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday noon-5 p.m., and is closed Mondays.
Plan the visit around the opening weekend if you can – member previews tend to be joyful, busy affairs – and let the kids lead. At The DoSeum, bigger really does mean better.
