Lincoln Center Throws Open Its Doors for Two Free Days of Music, Dance, and Family Fun

New York’s most famous arts campus is inviting everyone in — completely free. Lincoln Center will host its 5th Annual Open House on Saturday and Sunday, October 24–25, 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m., filling its entire campus with two full days of music, dance, storytelling, and family fun.

The lineup is dazzling and all-inclusive: Morning Meditations with NewYork-Presbyterian, family Storytimes at Lincoln Center Theater, the “Climate Sing” participatory community choir, an operatic storytelling workshop with The Metropolitan Opera, a dance workshop from The School of American Ballet and New York City Ballet, a performance from Jazz at Lincoln Center, costume and puppet making, and a roaming puppet experience led by Boca del Lupo and ArtstageSAN.

Accessibility is built into everything: FM assistive listening devices, live captioning, ASL interpretation in David Geffen Hall’s Wu Tsai Theater, relaxed performances, accessible seating and routes, and visual guides in both English and Spanish.

It’s a delicious taste of everything Lincoln Center presents year-round — world-class artistry on Lincoln Center Plaza for families and audiences of all ages. No tickets, no barriers: just New York at its most generous and welcoming, opening its grandest doors to its own city.
