Two-Time Grammy Winners Lost Bayou Ramblers Light Up Ogden Museum’s “Live in the Library” on November 14

New Orleans, get ready for a night where Southern art and Cajun soul meet under one historic roof. The Ogden Museum of Southern Art invites you to “Live in the Library,” a brand-new after-hours music lounge reimagined inside the stunning Patrick F. Taylor Library — and the guest for the evening is none other than the two-time Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers.

On Saturday, November 14, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., the celebrated Louisiana French band will fill the museum’s historic library with an exclusive acoustic performance. Founded in 1999 by brothers Andre and Louis Michot, the Lost Bayou Ramblers have spent more than two decades redefining Cajun traditions with a progressive, world-traveling spirit — from a feature on Jack White’s “American Epic” to score contributions for the Oscar-nominated film “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” and Grammy wins for “Kalenda” and their 2023 album recorded with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.

Alongside the live music, guests can enjoy a cash bar while surrounded by the library’s elegant atmosphere and the museum’s celebration of Southern creativity. Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for not-yet-members, with spots limited for this intimate setting. It is the perfect date-night idea or family outing for anyone who wants to experience New Orleans culture at its most vibrant — art, music and heritage, all in one unforgettable evening.
