Las Vegas Kids Get a Jolt of Science: Free STEM Saturday Explores Electro-Magnetism on Nov. 7

Las Vegas families have a bright idea for their Saturday plans! The Atomic Museum is hosting STEM Saturday: Electro-Magnetism on Saturday, November 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a free morning of hands-on science fun designed especially for kids.

Presented together with the Nevada National Security Sites and the Clark County School District’s Career and Technical Education program, STEM Saturdays bring real local scientists and engineers face to face with curious young minds. This month’s theme dives into electro-magnetism, the invisible force behind everything from refrigerator magnets to electric motors. Kids can try interactive activities, ask questions, and discover how STEM shapes real careers right here in Southern Nevada.

And the best part? Breakfast refreshments and prize raffles are included, so the whole family can fuel up while they learn. The event takes place at the Atomic Museum, 755 E. Flamingo Rd. in Las Vegas.

STEM Saturdays run monthly during the academic year, so this is also a great chance to discover a free family tradition that keeps on giving. Mark the calendar, bring the kids, and get ready for some positively electric family fun!
