Families are invited to a morning of discovery at The Neon Museum’s STEAM Family Fest: Nature and Sustainability, taking place in the world-famous Neon Boneyard on Saturday, November 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This beloved community event, held three times a year, brings together 25 local partners and performers for a day of hands-on learning celebrating science, technology, engineering, art and math. Inspired by the Museum’s collection of neon signs that reflect desert landscapes, the festival shows how the natural environment of Las Vegas weaves a story through the city’s past, present and future.
Guests of all ages can enjoy interactive activity stations, live entertainment, artist demonstrations, story time and science experiments among the glowing icons of the Neon Boneyard. Featured community partners include Springs Preserve, the Desert Research Institute, The Smith Center, the Las Vegas Philharmonic, the College of Southern Nevada, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, the Nevada State Museum and all three local library districts.
Tickets for guests ages seven and older are just $5 online or $6 at the door, and children six and under get in free. Thanks to the generous support of Speedway Children’s Charities, library card holders can attend for free — redeeming up to four tickets on the day of the event.
