Las Vegas just raised its glass to an extraordinary culinary milestone! The city hosted the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Southwest Ceremony, where local restaurants earned a dazzling 24 distinctions in the guide’s very first selection for the Southwest region — further affirming Las Vegas as one of the world’s great dining capitals.
The honors celebrate everything from globally renowned temples of fine dining to exceptional homegrown and neighborhood favorites. Restaurant de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand earned the prestigious Two MICHELIN Stars, while One MICHELIN Star went to Restaurant Guy Savoy, é by José Andrés, and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Las Vegas. The Bib Gourmand distinction — honoring great food at moderate prices — was awarded to China Poblano, Esther’s Kitchen, and YEN Viet Kitchen.
Seventeen additional restaurants received the Recommended Restaurants distinction, including favorites like Bouchon, Mott 32, Sparrow + Wolf, SoulBelly BBQ, and Wing Lei. As host city for the ceremony, Las Vegas welcomed chefs, restaurateurs, and hospitality leaders from Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah for a night that celebrated the remarkable talent and creativity shaping the region’s distinctive dining landscape.
