Cozy Campfires Brings Stories and Crafts to Children’s Museum Houston on Nov. 28

Houston families can wrap up Thanksgiving week with a warm, creative morning indoors. On Saturday, November 28, Children’s Museum Houston hosts Cozy Campfires, a full day of stories, crafts and hands-on fun built around the glow of a pretend campfire.

The celebration invites children and their grown-ups to gather round for campfire-themed activities that bring families together to create, explore and celebrate the warmth of the season. Expect storytelling circles, make-and-take crafts and playful discoveries woven through the museum’s much-loved exhibits at 1500 Binz Street in the Museum District.

Cozy Campfires is part of a festive holiday week at the museum, and it is designed for all ages — an easy, happy plan for visiting relatives, out-of-school kids and anyone who loves the idea of s’mores-season spirit without the smoke. General admission applies, and the museum’s Free Family Night Thursdays and Museums for All discounts help every Houston family join the fun.
