This October, Halloween gets a cosmic twist in Houston! Space Center Houston presents Galaxy Frights, the family-friendly celebration where spooky fun meets space exploration. On select October dates — including Saturday, October 24, 2026 — the center transforms into a launchpad for space-themed Halloween adventures, and the whole experience is included with general admission.
Little space explorers can trick-or-treat at candy stations throughout the center, strike a pose at spooky photo stations, and meet out-of-this-world guests, including a living astronaut statue and the center’s beloved mascot Commander Quest. Pop-up science labs bring hands-on experiments and interactive challenges, while Chilling Chef Chats in The Food Lab mix tasty treats with the science behind favorite snacks. On Saturdays, NASA astronauts take the stage for special presentations in the Space Center Theater.
Space Center Houston, the official visitor center of NASA Johnson Space Center at 1601 E NASA Parkway, invites the whole family to show off their Halloween costumes and make sweet memories among the stars. Details and tickets are at spacecenter.org.
