Houston’s favorite downtown Halloween tradition is back. Scream on the Green®, Discovery Green’s annual Halloween celebration, returns to the park on Friday, October 30, from 6 to 9 p.m., and admission is completely free.
The evening takes over the Anheuser-Busch Stage and the surrounding lawn with a frightfully fun mix for all ages. The star of the night is the park’s popular costume contest — start planning that outfit now, because you must pre-register to take part. Around the stage, visitors will find living sculptures, games, spooky music and plenty of photo opportunities against the downtown skyline.
Discovery Green, the 12-acre park in the heart of downtown Houston, has made Scream on the Green a not-to-be-missed fall tradition, and this year’s edition promises the same joyful, family-friendly energy.
