Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village Lights Up October Nights in Dearborn

October nights feel extra magical at Greenfield Village, where The Henry Ford’s beloved Hallowe’en celebration returns for its 46th season. On select evenings through October 25, the historic village in Dearborn transforms after dark with more than a thousand hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns lighting the paths between its landmark homes and workshops.

Families can wander lantern-lit streets, meet more than 50 costumed characters — from the Headless Horseman to storybook favorites from Oz and Wonderland — and enjoy dramatic vignettes, live music and fall treats as the evening grows spookier. The Hallowe’en Express train ride remains a fan favorite, winding through the village on a ghoulish and surprising journey.

Remaining 2026 dates are October 15–18 and 22–25, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Dinner packages, including the Eagle Tavern Harvest Supper and the Hallowe’en Fairy Tale Feast, sell out quickly, so The Henry Ford recommends booking ahead at thehenryford.org.
