One of the most beloved children’s shows on television is leaping off the screen and onto the stage in Denver. Bluey’s Big Play, the first live theatrical adventure inspired by the Emmy®-winning series, arrives at the Buell Theatre on November 21 and 22, 2026.
In this brand-new story, Dad is hoping for a quiet Sunday-afternoon time out — but Bluey and Bingo have other ideas. Armed with every game and clever trick they can dream up, the two sisters set out to get Dad off that bean bag once and for all. It is a celebration of play, imagination, and the beautiful chaos of family life.
The production features an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and brand-new music by the show’s composer, Joff Bush. Brilliantly crafted puppets bring Bluey, Bingo, and the whole Heeler family to life in a way families have never experienced before.
Presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay in association with Windmill Theatre Co., and hosted by the Denver Center for the Performing Arts at the Denver Performing Arts Complex in downtown Denver, this is the perfect family outing for the season. Children of all ages are invited to laugh, play, and join the Heelers for a theatrical first.
