Glow at the Gardens Returns to Denver with Thousands of Hand-Carved Real Pumpkins

Denver Botanic Gardens is about to glow again. Glow at the Gardens, the beloved nighttime experience, returns to the York Street location this October with an illuminated trail through enchanted landscapes, live performers and monumental hand-carved pumpkin sculptures.

Here is the delightful twist: unlike other pumpkin events that use foam replicas, every single pumpkin at Glow is real — grown locally and carved by hand. It is a glowing harvest you can only see in Denver.

New this year, the event unfolds along three color-coded, one-way trails you can explore in any order. Dates for 2026 are October 15–18 and October 21–24 at 1007 York Street, Denver. Tickets are $37 for adults, $35 for seniors and $29 for children ages 3–15; kids under 16 attend with an adult, and costumes are welcome. The gardens close at 1 p.m. on event days, and tickets traditionally sell out weeks in advance — so plan ahead.
