One of Dallas’s happiest family traditions is back. The Nasher Sculpture Center has announced the 2026 edition of The Great Create, its annual celebration that transforms the museum’s garden into a colorful, activity-filled space where children and families get to make art side by side with commissioned artists.
Each year, the Center commissions a group of artists to dream up interactive, hands-on stations throughout the sculpture garden — and every dollar from the ticketed event directly supports the Nasher’s education programs, which reach tens of thousands of children, students and families across North Texas every year.
This year’s event takes place on October 25, 2026, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m., an afternoon made for little hands and big imaginations, all surrounded by some of the world’s great sculptures under the open sky.
The Great Create is proof that art is for everyone — and that Dallas knows how to throw a party with a purpose. Grab the kids, bring your creativity and join a celebration that keeps arts education growing in the city.
