Dallas families with little ones have two brand-new reasons to visit Fair Park this fall. The State Fair of Texas debuted Little Lone Stars Land, an all-new area designed especially for toddlers and young schoolchildren, alongside a completely reimagined Kidway with an expanded footprint and a fresh new layout.
Located near the Gurley Gate and Craft Pavilion, Little Lone Stars Land brings everything little fairgoers love into one central spot: kiddie rides and fun houses, kid-friendly games, value-priced treats, and the Little Lone Stars refillable drinkware. Toddlers and preschoolers get their own special space, The Coop, while the Oak Farms Dairy Petting Zoo invites little animal lovers to meet furry and feathered friends up close. The Fringe Stage adds daily entertainment, including strongman Mighty Mike.
Fairgoers will also spot enhanced cartoon-style art of beloved characters like Little Big Tex, Amy Dillo, and Champ, with Amy Dillo and Champ making their debut as roaming characters. Over on the Midway, the reimagined Kidway delivers more rides, the Dr Pepper Kidway Stage with daily performances from the Showstoppers, and more value-priced food and drinks.
Happy City News tip: ride coupons drop to three on Tuesdays, making a family day even sweeter. The areas are open through the end of the 2026 Fair — round up your little Texans and head to Fair Park!
