A Glass Pumpkin Patch Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory This Weekend

Autumn is glowing in Columbus. The Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens hosts its beloved Glass Pumpkin Patch this weekend, October 24-25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. — the final weekend of the sale, following earlier runs on October 10-11 and 17-18.

Shoppers can browse hundreds of beautiful hand-blown glass pumpkins and autumn-themed pieces made by local glass artists, in every color, shape and size imaginable — from classic orange beauties to whimsical one-of-a-kind creations that never wilt.

This year’s featured glass artists include Jack Pine Studio, Louisville Glass Studio, Warped Paws in Paradise Glass, Diane McMullen, Garrabrant Glass, The Dam Glass Studio, Taglio Studios, Glass Misfits, Theresa Sharp, William Ortman and Glass Happiness.

The sale, held in Meeting Rooms A & B, is free to shop and open to all ages — a perfect excuse to pair pumpkin hunting with a stroll through the conservatory’s gardens at 1777 E. Broad Street, and to stay for the evening glow of the season.
