Hot dog — the Clubhouse has come to Columbus! Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Exhibit is now open at COSI, inviting kids and families to step inside Disney Jr.’s beloved series and help Mickey, Minnie and their pals prepare a surprise birthday party for their favorite pup, Pluto.
Produced by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the interactive experience is filled with fun, music and delightful surprises for Disney Jr. fans of all ages. With the party clock ticking, families band together and use their own skills and creativity to lend a helping hand to Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Professor Von Drake.
Each corner of the Clubhouse offers a job to do. Little helpers can bake and decorate with Minnie, decorating pretend cupcakes with a whimsical frosting machine and putting the candles on Pluto’s birthday cake. They can invent with Donald and Professor Von Drake, putting together a special bubble-making invention for the party, and craft and paint with Daisy to make Pluto’s day extra special — with more goofy games waiting alongside Goofy, too.
Beyond the smiles, the exhibit is designed to inspire teamwork: practicing empathy, using each person’s unique skills to overcome challenges, solving problems and helping those around us. The exhibit is included with COSI general admission, making it an easy add-on to a family day among COSI’s classic exhibits, live shows and the Dinosaur Gallery. See it at COSI, 333 West Broad Street in Columbus.
