All aboard the smallest railroad in Columbus. The Paul Busse Garden Railway (on view April 25, 2026–January 3, 2027 at Franklin Park Conservatory) runs G-scale trains through a miniature world built entirely from natural materials — bark, seed pods, fungi and twigs sculpted into bridges, villages and a fairy-tale landscape.
Master builder Paul Busse’s creations are legendary in the garden-railway world: look closely and every tiny building is a botanical sculpture. Kids track the trains through tunnels and over trestles while parents marvel at the craftsmanship — a rare exhibit that slows a whole family down to wonder-speed.
It’s included with Conservatory admission, inside the Grand Atrium’s seasonal displays.
Big gardens, tiny trains, huge grins. The Garden Railway is Columbus’ most charming small thing.
