Little Kidspace: COSI’s Big World Built Just for Little Ones

Every great science museum needs a place where toddlers rule — COSI’s is called little kidspace, a bright, padded, water-splashing world designed exclusively for children from birth to five (and their very lucky grown-ups).

Inside, little scientists pour and float at the water tables, build with oversized blocks, climb a kid-sized treehouse, care for babies in the pretend nursery and drive a pint-size truck. The space is enclosed and staffed, with a nursing room and stroller parking — details that frazzled parents will appreciate as much as the exhibits.

It operates on its own session rhythm on busy days, so check the board on arrival and plan your slot.

Big kids get the dinosaurs. Little kids get a universe sized exactly right.
