Get ready for a boo-tiful Halloween season! BOO! at the Zoo is back at Brookfield Zoo Chicago, running October 3 through October 25, 2026, with a whole month of family-friendly fall festivities.
Little ghouls and goblins can trick-or-treat at select zoo shops, strike a pose at festive photo stations, and meet their favorite Halloween characters strolling through the grounds. Weekends crank up the magic with live entertainment, Zoo Chats, animal experiences, a costume parade, and a wildly fun show with dinosaurs — yes, the dinos are still roaming before they go extinct again!
One of the sweetest traditions is Pumpkin to Animal Enrichment, where guests watch the animals enjoy their own Halloween treats. Add in seasonal food and drinks, spine-tingling photo ops, and the chance to show off your best costume, and you have the perfect fall outing for the whole family.
Families can also celebrate birthdays in spooky style or enjoy a Boo Brunch in the Pavilions with a live DJ and face painting for the kids. Best of all, admission is free for Zoo members — the perfect excuse to visit again and again.
