Chicago’s fall art season has a brand-new addition. The inaugural Chicago Art Fair debuts October 7–10, 2026 at the iconic Merchandise Mart (222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza), bringing together world-class galleries presenting exceptional contemporary and modern fine art.

The fair connects galleries with collectors, advisors, designers, architects and enthusiasts across Chicago and the Midwest. Exhibitors include Chicago-based McCormick Gallery, Hilton Contemporary, Stephen Daiter Gallery and Jean Albano Gallery, alongside New York galleries like Nancy Hoffman Gallery and Vallarino Fine Art, plus international exhibitors.

Public hours run Thursday October 8 and Friday October 9 (11 a.m.–8 p.m.) and Saturday October 10 (11 a.m.–6 p.m.), following an opening night preview on Wednesday October 7. Special projects by Agnes Beleznay and Graham Hobart round out the debut edition.
