Spider-Man Exhibit Gets One Final Extension at Griffin Museum of Science and Industry

Great news for Marvel fans: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing — The Exhibition has been extended one final time at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, and will now stay open through August 16, 2026. Because of overwhelming demand, this will also be the very last stop ever for the touring exhibition, so Chicago is the final place in the world to catch it.

Since opening in May 2025, more than 350,000 guests have already visited the immersive experience. It brings together original artwork by legendary creators, rare comic books, and a behind-the-scenes look at how the Spider-Verse jumped from the pages of comics into movies, TV, and video games. Visitors can also see real film props and costumes, explore cutting-edge interactive installations, and take photos with life-size statues of Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, and Miles Morales.

Among the treasures on display: the original Amazing Fantasy #15, the comic that debuted Spider-Man; the suits worn in the 2012 and 2021 Spider-Man films; the Green Goblin mask from the 2002 movie; and rare discarded drafts and notes from Stan Lee himself. The exhibition was developed by Semmel Exhibitions in association with Marvel and designed by the acclaimed Berlin-based collective StudioTK.

Timed tickets are encouraged, and they are available now at griffinmsi.org/spiderman. If you have been waiting for the perfect moment to swing by, this is your very last chance.
