History is about to sound spectacular at one of Boston’s most beloved landmarks. On Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., the Boston Conservatory Wind Ensemble takes over Sam Adams Park at Faneuil Hall for a free outdoor concert celebrating America at 250 — the 250th anniversary of the nation.
In this anniversary year, the ensemble brings the music right to the seat of that history: Faneuil Hall, the 1742 meeting house where the ideas of a new nation first found their voice. The program explores significant works by four American composers capturing moments of history, time, space and life, and closes with a world premiere — a brand-new chamber symphony by Kevin Krumenauer reflecting on our collective journey through life in today’s America.
The concert is part of Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s 2026–2027 Center Stage season, and admission is completely free. Pack a blanket, bring the family and celebrate 250 years of American stories through music in the very heart of Boston.
