Some of the most beloved voices in books, stage, and screen are headed to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston this season. The MFA has revealed the lineup for its 2026–2027 Ruth and Carl J. Shapiro Celebrity Lectures, a long-running series celebrating creativity, storytelling, and bold ideas.
The calendar is full of must-see evenings. Best-selling author and art-history champion Katy Hessel takes the stage on October 24, followed by artist Hoshinu Satoru on October 25. Then comes three-time Emmy winner Uzo Aduba on October 29, known to millions for her unforgettable roles on screen, who will share a deeply personal conversation about identity, resilience, and courage drawn from her memoir, The Road Is Good.
On November 12, artist Suzanne Jackson—whose celebrated retrospective Suzanne Jackson: What Is Love is on view at the Museum this fall—joins writer and scholar Imani Perry for an evening of art and ideas. The season continues with humorist and storyteller Mo Rocca on December 3, comedy star Rachel Dratch on February 25, and award-winning author Ocean Vuong on May 13.
Tickets are on sale now for in-person attendance at the Museum, and livestream options bring every talk to audiences everywhere. An evening at the MFA’s lectures is a front-row seat to the creative minds shaping our culture.
