Atlanta is about to get delightfully spooky beneath the waves. Georgia Aquarium is bringing back its fan-favorite adults-only evening, Haunted Seas After Hours, on Friday, October 16 at 7:30 PM — a Halloween celebration with an ocean twist.
This eerie edition of the Aquarium’s popular after-hours series takes inspiration from the mysterious creatures and shadowy depths of the sea. Guests can sip signature cocktails and mocktails, dance the night away to a live DJ, and wander the galleries surrounded by terrifyingly fun seasonal décor — all without the daytime crowds.
It’s a perfect date-night or friends’ night out: explore the Aquarium’s world-famous exhibits at night, enjoy a drink, and soak in the festive atmosphere. Food will be available for purchase at the Coastline Café until 9:30 PM, and additional beverages can be purchased at bars throughout the evening (the event is cashless).
The night runs from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, with last entry at 9:30 PM and the last alcohol pour at 10:15 PM. Guests must be 18 or older to attend (21+ to drink), so bring a valid ID and plan a safe ride home. Parking is available in the Aquarium’s covered garage for an additional fee.
