Columbus’s happiest shopping weekend is almost here. Columbus Winterfair returns Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6, 2026, filling the Bricker Building at the Ohio Expo Center with handmade art, good food and five decades of holiday tradition.
More than 350 artists and gourmet marketplace vendors will be there, so every aisle brings something new: ceramics, jewelry, glass, woodwork, fiber art, paintings and one-of-a-kind gifts you will not find in any mall. Best of all, you buy directly from the makers themselves, who are happy to talk about how each piece was made and even discuss custom work.
Winterfair is more than shopping. Visitors can watch live demonstrations, join hands-on art projects with local arts guilds, discover new work by featured emerging artists, and take a break in the wine bar and food court areas. It is an easy, cheerful day out for families, art lovers and anyone working through a gift list.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $8, children 12 and under get in free, and one ticket is valid for all three days; $6 tickets are available at the Ohio Craft Museum. New for 2026, a free shuttle serves Winterfair patrons on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Ohio Expo Center is at 717 East 17th Avenue.
Winterfair is organized by Ohio Designer Craftsmen, the nonprofit founded in 1963 that also runs the Ohio Craft Museum. It has organized the fair in Columbus for 49 years, and every ticket helps support professional artists and art education across Ohio. Come find a gift with a story behind it.
