Cirque du Soleil spends Thanksgiving in Tampa this year. “‘Twas the Night Before…” — Cirque’s first Christmas show, inspired by the classic poem — flips into the Straz Center’s Morsani Hall November 18–29, 2026, wrapping acrobatics, dance and holiday wonder into a family spectacle.
The story follows a girl whisked into the poem’s world on Christmas Eve: expect aerial snow, gravity-teasing hoop diving, roller skating duos and a blizzard of Cirque invention — with the production’s joyful, kid-first pacing making it the season’s big-tent family ticket.
It slots neatly between Hamilton and Death Becomes Her in the Straz’s stacked fall — a holiday anchor before the Riverwalk’s Winter Village even opens.
Visions of sugar-plums, at 30 feet in the air. Tampa’s holidays start here.
