From the glass jewel of the Central Library downtown to beloved neighborhood branches, The Seattle Public Library fills the week with free family joy: storytimes in English, Spanish and more languages, baby bounce sessions, homework help and teen programs.
Family favorites include the Summer of Learning, which turns vacation into a citywide scavenger hunt of reading, crafts and science, plus author visits, puppet shows and early-learning play spaces in branches across Seattle.
Everything is free with a library card — making the library one of Seattle’s happiest family resources, rain or shine, in every neighborhood of the city.
